A 74-year-old Florida man helps 114 families pay utility bills. He wants to share his earnings because he felt ashamed that his pool business is still doing well despite the pandemic.
PEOPLE previously reported that Michael Esmond paid almost $4,600 worth of gas and water bills for other families. Before Christmas of 2019, he helped 36 Gulf Breeze families to pay past their dues after having experienced the same struggles in 1983.
Did what he did a year ago
After Esmond saw Hurricane Sally pummeled Florida, he felt he needed to do what he did a year ago. According to CNN, the ongoing pandemic has impacted the economy of the state. Esmond, the owner of Gulf Breeze Pools and Spas, shared that this year was probably more meaningful for him than last year.

So without further ado, join me now on another…
