Worcestershire County League round up: Rain plays havoc with fixtures

Report shows steady increase in malicious files in GCC 1558378 MUSCAT, Dec 19 - A report released by international cloud cybersecurity firm Mimecast says its researchers have observed a month on month increase in malicious files detected in the Arabian Peninsula over the course of 2020. The report, titled ‘Arabian Peninsula as a Cyber Innovator and Associated Cyber Risk to Resilience in the Region’, highlights how between March and April when COVID-19 first began spreading in the region and countries went into lockdown there was a 93 per cent increase in malicious files detected. There has been a steady increase in malicious files every month since then.

By Yakir Benzion, United With Israel Volunteers at the Shevet Achim aid organization were all smiles after they brought a tiny baby from the minority Yazidis of Iraq to Israel for life-saving treatment at Sheba Hospital near Tel Aviv. Little Hena hails from Iraqi Kurdistan, where the Yazidi people have faced horrible persecution and genocide at the hands of Islamic State terrorists. Shevet Achim brings children from neighboring Arab countries to Israel for medical treatment. Sheba Medical Center, which works with Shevet Achim, had sent official requests asking the babies be allowed into Israel on humanitarian grounds and Hena’s case was an urgent situation of life-and-death.

Upon landing, the two-month-old was whisked directly to Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv where she began treatment. Last month, The Times of Israel revealed the convoluted and ever-shifting set of instructions that the Interior Ministry, Foreign Ministry, and the Population and Immigration Authority’s Exceptions Committee provided to Shevet Achim, a Christian aid organization that brings children from neighboring Arab countries to Israel for medical treatment.
