Americana/bluegrass/country band WestWend will perform a “Red, White, and Bluegrass” concert on Saturday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m.
The free concert will take place on the front lawn of First United Methodist Church in Oak Ridge. Folding chairs will be provided, but concert goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Light refreshments will be offered.
“This is a great way to celebrate Independence Day with true Americana music,” the Rev. Seth O’Kegley-Gibson, the pastor of Worship and Music at the church, stated in a news release. “We wanted to have a special event to celebrate the holiday while being conscious of pandemic safety, and the front lawn is a great place for that!”
