MUMBAI: A 30-year-old man jumped to death from the fourth floor of his housing society at Jogeshwari West on Sunday.
Nilesh Sapkal was suffering from a mental health condition, police said. No suicide note was recovered.
Sapkal worked in the back office of a private company. He lives with his aunt at Ganesh Nagar in Jogeshwari. Police said he was taking treatment from a psychiatrist for the past four years. Sapkal had stopped eating properly and talking to his kin over the past few days. His brother got worried and decided to come over and meet him, a police officer said.

MUMBAI: A 21-year-old pharmacy student was arrested for sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl at Jogeshwari West on Thursday. Hundreds of residents gathered at the Oshiwara police station after the incident.
The accused has been booked under relevant provisions of IPC and Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act. His identity has been kept confidential to protect the child s identity.
Police said the victim lived with her family on the mezzanine floor of a house in Jogeshwari West. The house is owned by the accused s family and they lived on the ground floor. The child would often go downstairs to play to which neither family ever objected.
