LMFM By Marc O Driscoll Traffic has come to a standstill in the area over recent weekends. A local councillor is calling on visitors to Gyles Quay to adopt a common sense approach this summer. Traffic has come to a standstill in the area over recent weekends as drivers park along the Co. Louth beachfront and turn the road into a one-way system. It comes as thousands of people are expected to flock to beaches this weekend, with tomorrow expected to be the hottest day of the year. Fianna Fáil s Andrea McKevitt fears that an ambulance or the coast guard would not currently be able to access the beach if there was an emergency.
