Javier Chicharito Hernandez scored twice, once in each half, to lead the visiting LA Galaxy to a 3-1 win over the struggling San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night.
Hernandez, the Galaxy s big-name striker from Mexico, scored in the 11th and 50th minutes for the Galaxy (7-3-0, 21 points), who have won three of their last four games.
The Galaxy have won both meetings against San Jose (3-7-1, 10 points), with one match to go against their California Clasico rivals. The Earthquakes are winless in their last seven games (0-6-1) and have scored only two goals in that span.

The New Rodeo restaurant, 407 E. Rio Grande St. has just received the Keep Victoria Beautiful Business Beautification Award for the month of June. This is a monthly award that is given monthly to recognize businesses that help to beautify the Victoria community through property upkeep, landscaping, and other improvements. This is something that I noticed last week as I drove past the Rodeo Restaurant. The restaurant received a traveling sign to display and bragging rights during the month of June
