YORK, Maine A woman who was reported missing Tuesday evening after she went for a walk with a dog, was later found dead along a wooded walking trail, according to the York Police Department.
York police Detective Sgt. Thomas Cryan said police have no reason to suspect foul play, nor is there any reason for safety concerns in the community.
Police had asked the public for help to locate 66-year-old Deborah Kolbjornsen, after she did not return from her walk when expected, prompting a missing person report about 6:15 p.m. She was a retired teacher from the Oyster River Cooperative School District in New Hampshire.
