It passed the Senate in a 23-15 vote and awaits the governor’s signature. The bill would also allow students to record their professors during lectures to show evidence of political bias. The sponsor of the House version of the legislation, Rep. Spencer Roach, R-North Fort Myers, said he has not spoken with Republican Gov. Ron Desantis but anticipates his support.
