st Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. These 2 never seem to disappoint. Even though the Oilers won the season series 5-2 all 7 tilts were entertaining. I enjoy watching the Jets and have respect for them. And besides, doesn’t Edmonton’s road to the cup always go through Winnipeg?

Area municipal, school board election results for April 13

UNDATED – Several area towns held municipal and school board elections Tuesday.
In Faith, there was a school board election, where three candidates were vying for two spots and a 3-year-term. Unofficial results indicate Scott Vance and Kris Stocklin-Johnson the winners for the two seats and Kyle Kennedy, who was the only candidate on the ballot for the 2-year-term.
In Wall, there were two races. In a race for City Council Ward 2, Kelly Welsh won with 48 votes, defeating Linda Hiltner, who received 14 votes. In a race for school board, 5 candidates were running for 3 seats. Unofficial results show the winners are Joshua Geigle with 157 votes, Cory Fortune with 129 votes and Elaine Simons with 128 votes. Their terms will start in July.
