NXT Hits
Isaiah Scott vs. Leon Ruff in a Falls Count Anywhere match: A very good match and not just in terms of the execution of the moves. Both men played their characters to perfection. Ruff has his underdog act down, and Scott is really starting to thrive in his cocky heel persona. This was a treat to watch and a terrific way to open the show. I’m all in for the new Scott-led faction.
Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart vs. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae in a Street Fight for the NXT Women’s Tag Titles: A wild match with plenty of weapons and big spots. The title change legitimately surprised me, but I actually like it a lot. Hartwell and LeRae need the titles more than Moon and Blackheart. For that matter, I’m anxious to see Moon and Blackheart eventually get back to working singles matches. On a side note, Hartwell improves with each match and has a chance to be something special.
NXT recap & reactions (May 4, 2021): It’s a street fight!

It’s a STREET FIGHT
If you have a moment free take it to enjoy this slept on gem from the Street Fighter soundtrack. The moment I heard that Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon were defending their tag team titles in a STREET FIGHT against Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell, I was eagerly anticipating tiger uppercuts, hadoukens and perhaps even some YOGA FIRE.
EXCLUSIVE: Fed up after the vicious assault by @CandiceLeRae & @indi hartwell, @ShotziWWE & @WWEEmberMoon are ready to settle the issue in a Street Fight! #WWENXTpic.twitter.com/wulxTMr6Zv WWE Network (@WWENetwork) April 28, 2021

Researchers at the University of Toronto are developing microrobots, precisely controlled by magnetic fields, that could one day be used to perform minimally invasive brain surgery on children.
The research team – co-led by
Eric Diller, an associate professor of mechanical engineering in the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering, and
James Drake, a professor in the department of surgery in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and a pediatric neurosurgeon at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) – says the technology represents a departure from the rigid, wired designs of most micro-surgical tools.
“Advancing surgery through an endoscope in the pediatric brain requires miniaturized versatile tools which can be precisely controlled,” says Drake. “This novel concept of using tiny, magnetized tools, controlled by robotic external magnets, shows great promise in addressing this need for both pediatric and adult patients.”
A new match has been added to the lineup for this week s NXT.
WWE has announced that Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher will face The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) on NXT this Tuesday night. Both teams have stated that they want to challenge MSK (Wes Lee & Nash Carter) for the NXT Tag Team titles.
On NXT last week, The Grizzled Young Veterans cut a promo calling themselves the leaders that the NXT tag team division needs. Gibson said they re soon to be recognized as the next NXT Tag Team Champions. Ciampa & Thatcher then interrupted The Grizzled Young Veterans. Ciampa & Thatcher also wanted to challenge MSK for the NXT Tag Team titles. The segment ended with Ciampa & Thatcher attacking Gibson & Drake.
