The owner of that first-of-its-kind, one-of-a-kind residential building being referred to in that expression is Sanusi Adebisi, one of the wealthiest men of his time, during the colonial era. He died 83 years ago – on 23 January, 1938.
A visit to the mansion in Idikan on Wednesday showed that modernity has done so little to prevent the building from still standing tall in that heart-of-the-city community. The architectural design still exuded class.

After months of changing coronavirus restrictions across Washington, the state is once again taking a new approach.
Starting Monday, the state will adopt the new Healthy Washington Roadmap to Recovery plan, which involves reopening the state by regions using a phased approach. Right now, the Healthy Washington plan includes only two phases. Every region will start in the first phase, and will remain there until it meets the metrics needed to move forward. The state will be looking at four key metrics to decide when regions can move forward in the plan.

The world’s oldest virgin finally said I do to her 90-year-old groom. The lovebirds said their vows at a wedding ceremony in Kigorobya St. James Cathedral in Uganda.
Mr Rwakaikara, the groom, has 10 children and 40 grandchildren from his first marriage with late wife. His new wife, Naomi, has never been married before and doctors confirmed that she was still a first class virgin at the age of 83.
Wedding the two octogenarians, Bishop Kyamanywa reminded the congregation that it was never too late when it comes to God’s perfect time as he thanked the couple for their patience in waiting for the special day in their lives.
