The latest jobs were announced by Alter Domus, which provides solutions for the alternative investment industry.
The company is creating 100 new jobs at its Centre of Excellence in Cork.
Other IDA Ireland-supported businesses to announce new jobs in Ireland this month include Personio, which is creating 140 roles in Dublin, Genesys, which is increasing its headcount by 100 in Galway, Indigo Telecom with 100 roles in Limerick and Logitech, which has created 50 jobs in Cork.
Alter Domus operates a European hub for global private debt, private equity, real estate and infrastructure investors and managers supporting over €1trn in assets under administration globally from its Cork office.
Fund manager Alter Domus is expanding its office in Cork, Ireland adding 100 jobs after already boosting numbers in 2020.
Alter Domus employs 180 people in Ireland, after recruiting 80 new staff last year. It will now be adding another 100 roles, the company said in a press release on 27 January. Annual intake for graduate and internship programmes is expected to double this year, the company said.
Youth unemployment in Ireland rose to more than 44% at the end of last year because of the pandemic.
“I am particularly pleased to see the company will continue the partnerships it has established with local third-level institutions,” said former Irish prime minister and employment minister Leo Varadkar about the company’s cooperation with universities in Ireland.

Judges at the 57th BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition will begin their final deliberations this morning to decide who will be crowned the 2021 BT Young Scientist & Technologist of the Year.
Over the course of the last two days, over 1,000 students from over 200 schools across the island of Ireland have been showcasing their projects and sharing their amazing discoveries with the BTYSTE judges.
The annual BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE) has been a very different experience for students this year.
The much-anticipated trip to the RDS, often involving long bus journeys from all over the country, could not go ahead as planned.
But the show must go on despite the Covid-19 restrictions, and what better event to make use of technology to showcase the work of young people from all over the country?
In the first ever virtual exhibition,550 projects from 213 schools have been shortlisted by the judging panel to take part in the finals this year.
Of the 1,055 students qualified for the finals, 62pc are female and 38pc male.
