Not many horses have more buzz surrounding them on Saturday s Flemington card than the John McArdle juvenile Tycoon Humma, who is set to tackle the $140,000 Listed Very Special Kids Plate (1000m).
McArdle knows what it takes to win the race, having done so with Mockery in 2019, but while that filly was $16 on the day, there will be no such spoil about the price of Tycoon Humma, who caught the eye with a blistering debut win at Bendigo on February 13.
Sportsbet has installed the Capitalist filly a $2.60 favourite after being heavily backed on debut. I wasn t overly surprised (of the debut win), McArdle explained.
