Striving to obtain the acceptance from their parents that they so desperately desire is one of the most powerful motivators for many adults to improve themselves, no matter what they’ve already accomplished and achieved in life. That’s certainly the case for actor Chris Kerson’s character of Paddy in the new comedy, ‘Last Call.’ Paddy is determined to do whatever it takes to finally receive the support from his father, Coach, who’s played by Bruce Dern, but must ultimately accept that they may never have the kind of relationship that he has wanted for so long.

Actor Jamie Kennedy said his role in the movie Roe. v. Wade as Lawrence Larry Lader, the abortion on demand proponent and co-founder of NARAL, gave him a greater respect for women.
Lader, who died in 2006, was known as the father of abortion and successfully used deceptive tactics to change the media s narrative about the controversial issue. The U.S. Supreme Court even cited his book,
Abortion, seven times in its landmark decision in
Roe v. Wade in 1973.
“I respect women more since filming ‘Roe v. Wade,’” the actor told The New York Post. “For a woman, [abortion] has to be the most, hardest decision in a woman’s life. But it should be hard for a man as well. It’s a two-party thing but at the end of the day, the woman has to carry that to fruition.”

Comedian Jamie Kennedy joined us this morning and dissed on Chet Hanks. We were joined by a survivor of Everest s deadliest day, Jim Davidson. Eddie went on a rant about Demi Lovato. Finally, among other things, Sky gave us this week s New Releases in video games, movies, music, & streaming services.
Now, as vaccination rates are up and much of the country is experiencing something that feels like normalcy and hope, many (myself included) are in the mood for viewing that s a little more uplifting. Think less gruesome murders and more onion ring scandals and Blockbuster nostalgia.
As such, I ve gathered some of the must-watch documentaries from the last couple of years some of which you may have missed amid the pandemic that are the perfect antidote for too many true crime binges.

The Mole Agent (Hulu)
In a Chilean town outside of Santiago, Sergio Chamy answers an unusual newspaper ad: ELDERLY MALE NEEDED. Retired, between 80 and 90 years old. Independent, discrete, and competent with technology. He arrives at the office of a private investigator named Rómulo, who explains that a client is concerned that her mother, who has dementia, is perhaps being neglected or even abused in the nursing home facility where she resides.
