IRELAND CAPTAIN KATIE McCabe continued her incredible individual season at Arsenal with a goal this afternoon as the Gunners virtually secured Champions League football for next season.
The Dubliner was involved in both goals as her side produced a late, late show to clinch a 2-1 victory at Arsenal in the Women’s Super League [WSL], England’s top-flight.

According to the ACLU-NJ, protesters of the renewal of the county s contract with ICE to house detainees have had their First Amendment rights violated.
Freedom of speech and the right to peacefully assemble are at the center of a new brief filed by the ACLU-NJ on behalf of protesters who were issued temporary restraining orders and arrested after protesting outside Hudson County Executive Tom DeGise’s home last year.
According to the ACLU-NJ court filing, Hudson County officials violated the First Amendment rights of protesters when it used “draconian measures,” including arrests to silence opponents of the county’s renewal of its contract with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to house detainees at the Hudson County Correctional Center.

RESIDENTS at a Somerset care home enjoyed a taste of the seaside when an ice cream van came to visit during Easter. Ilminster ice cream van operator Daren Harley visited Camelot House & Lodge in Wellington to give staff and residents to a sweet treat. The tour was the brainchild of Richard Dempslake, activities co-ordinator for Camelot House & Lodge. He arranged for Darren to visit the home during Easter weekend. “Our residents were so excited to hear the music that meant the van was coming,” said Richard. “And their faces when it pulled up outside were a picture. “They crowded over to the lounge windows so they could see the ice cream concoctions being put together, and were absolutely delighted with Darren’s delicious freshly-made ice cream.
