When Fiona Hancox stood for the board of Silver Fern Farms, it was all about timing.
Six years later, the West Otago farmer s decision to not seek re-election in this year s farmer director elections for Silver Fern Farms Co-operative was also about timing.
While acknowledging it was sad to leave what was a fantastic company and board and also such an important part of her family s own farming business - it was the right time, she said.

The Countess of Wessex lived up to her stylish credentials as one of the best dressed members of the Royal Family during Prince Philip s funeral last Saturday.
Sophie, who much like the Duchess of Cambridge, often turns to British designers to create tailored, feminine pieces for formal events, chose to wear a dress from one of her go-to designers, Suzannah London.

Sophie turned to one of her most trusted designers,
Suzannah Crabb, for her dress for the service - wearing what appeared to be a custom-made design from the brand for the poignant event.

It is known that Suzannah makes custom pieces for Sophie, though whether it was a new dress that was produced specifically for the funeral, or one that was already in her wardrobe, we do not know.
