Here’s a tale about my Achilles heel – animals. During lockdown’s greyer moments I sought solace watching them on social media, particularly farm animals: their innocence and uncontrived sense of fun made me smile, offering a cloven uplift. I even sponsored the upkeep of Tina the turkey and then shed a tear learning she’d crossed her ‘rainbow bridge’.
