Des Moines Register The life of Ashley Marie Okland, a Story County farm girl who became a rising star of real estate in the Des Moines metro, could have been a billboard for the best that life has to offer Iowans  until April 8, 2011. The case remains under investigation by West Des Moines police detectives. In early April, the department renewed its decade-old call for help from the public. As we approach this tragic milestone, we are asking anyone with information to come forward and help provide closure to those affected by the loss of this successful and vibrant young woman, said Sgt. Jason Heintz, the department’s spokesman.
