Ed Robinson will join Eddie Jones staff for the next two months after Jason Ryles decided to stay in Australia due to the challenges posed because of the coronavirus pandemic. We re looking forward to welcoming Ed to our coaching staff for the tournament and we d like to thank Jersey Reds for their cooperation and support in making it happen. He s a talented young coach and will work to help the players improve.

Head coach Eddie Jones and attack coach Simon Amor have been identified as close contacts and are now due to miss the first day of England’s camp next week. The reigning Six Nations champions are due to gather in Newcastle on Wednesday 27 January but Jones and Amor are set to join the group on 28 January as they must self-isolate for a 10-day period, in accordance with UK government guidelines.

Half of 16- to 25-year-olds said their mental health had worsened since the start of the pandemic. They are the survey’s worst findings in its 12-year history. Jonathan Townsend, the trust’s UK chief executive, said: “Many believe they are missing out on being young, and sadly we know that the impact of the pandemic on their employment prospects and overall wellbeing could continue far into their futures.”
