Affidavit: Suspect forced woman to have sex multiple times for money

Prior to calling police for help, a woman said a man forced her to board a bus with him in Austin and travel to Laredo where she was forced to have sex with multiple men, states an arrest affidavit.
The woman called 911 at about 4:33 p.m. April 8 from the Tru by Hilton Laredo Airport on 7120 Rosson Lane saying that she was a victim of human and sex trafficking. She added she was inside the women’s bathroom inside the lobby. She stated she needed help and that she did not want to get killed.

Big is back. After a record run for small bars and diminutive diners, the first stage of the sprawling Hinchcliff House Wool Store development at Circular Quay opens its doors this week.
The entry level Grana eatery and its attached bakery serves its first customers on Tuesday, with the rest of the historic four-level building – which is handsomely lashed in Sydney sandstone and giant red ironbark timber beams – to follow in coming weeks.

LPD: Man forced woman to engage in prostitution

A man has been arrested for forcing a woman to engage in prostitution, according to Laredo police.
LPD officers responded to a kidnapping report at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Rosson Lane and Jacaman Road. A woman in her 20s stated that she had been compelled to engage in prostitution by force and that she feared for her life.
Authorities identified the suspect as Jason Duncan, 34. Officers located and detained Duncan and another man at another nearby location. Special investigations unit detectives took over the case.
“During the investigation, it was revealed the victim and the suspect arrived to Laredo from out of state and that the victim was forced to engage in prostitution against her will,” states the affidavit.
