DMCC’S Dubai Design Academy signs MoU with Pearson
DUBAI, 3 hours, 30 minutes ago DMCC, the world’s flagship Free Zone and Government of Dubai Authority on commodities trade and enterprise, has announced that the Dubai Design Academy (DDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understating (MoU) with Pearson, a leading awarding organisation. Through the agreement, the DDA will become an approved academy that offers accredited BTEC courses – a vocational qualification that provides a more practical-based learning experience to professionals across the industry. With over 40 years of experience educating professionals, Pearson’s BTEC courses will help individuals acquire the high standards of knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in their career.

Global brewer AB InBev launched its flagship program, BudStart Global Accelerator 2021, in Asia-Pacific, Africa and for fintech startups globally. The program opened up for startups simultaneously across the three cohorts. With the BudStart Global Accelerator, AB InBev collaborates with the startup ecosystem to find relevant solutions for AB InBev s business transformation. Startups get access to paid proof of concept (POC), support to improve product/ solution maturity, global expansion opportunities, mentoring (functional, technical, legal), strategic investment opportunities, corporate and partnership connections, and more.

Addison Ray, daughter of Aaron and Tammy Ray of Speed, and a member of the Mid-Missouri Aces softball team was recognized Jan. 10.
She has played on the team for a couple of years and was named offensive player of the year and pitcher of the year for 2020.
Michael Gregory, son of Jason Gregory of Bunceton, had a double promotion to the rank of sergeant. He is a sophomore at Bunceton High School and a member of the JROTC at Boonville Technical School. Gregory is the grandson of MIke and Susan Gregory of Bunceton.
