SNL comedian Pete Davidson brutally trolled Jake Paul and Ben Askren ahead of the pair s boxing bout on Saturday night.
While controversial YouTuber Paul and former MMA brawler Asken were billed as the main event, Davidson who commentated the fight almost stole the show with an hilarious monologue.
In a pre-fight segment, Davidson teased both fighters in the contest that he said showed how low [boxing] has truly sunk.

He said: You can tell how professional this event is by them having me here. We are backstage at Jake Paul s dressing room, or locker room if you want to call it that.

Jake Paul is hoping to take care of business against Ben Askren this weekend and then turn his attention to former UFC champion Conor McGregor.
Paul, who is set to meet Askren in the headliner of Triller Fight Club’s pay-per-view (PPV) boxing event later tonight (Sat., April 17, 2021) live on FITE TV from inside Mercedes-Benz Arena in Atlanta, Ga., is doing anything and everything he can do stand out in the combat sports world. Knocking out former NBA star Nate Robinson with one punch last year has certainly helped Paul’s ascension, but the YouTube sensation is still looking to take his boxing career to an entirely new level.
Jake Paul believes he will fight Conor McGregor within the next two years.
After Paul had a highlight-reel KO over Nate Robinson he called out several MMA fighters including McGregor. He began taking shots at the Irishman and on Saturday night, he will face Ben Askren, and many believe if he wins, he will call out McGregor again.
According to Paul, he is calling out MMA fighters for a reason as they will want to tune into his fights.
“I’m just having fun and trolling,” Paul said at media day (via MMAFighting). “I’ve sort of purposefully pitting the MMA community against me so they tune into this fight. It worked.”
It s not the first time the YouTube star has called the Irishman for a fight.

Jake Paul may be preparing for his bout against Ben Askren this weekend, but the YouTube star turned boxer is already planning his next fight and has again singled out UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
The Irishman is currently focused on his upcoming trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in July, but has made no secret of his desire to return to the boxing ring in the future.
McGregor, whose one and only boxing match thus far was the loss against Floyd Mayweather Jr, is keen to arrange a bout with Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao. Paul, however, has other plans for the Irishman.

Next weekend Kamaru Usman will defend his welterweight title in a main event rematch with Jorge Masvidal at UFC 261. Usman and Masvidal first fought last July with Usman winning a wide decision but with the absence of any other clear cut welterweight contenders the UFC chose to run it back. At the end of March it was announced that third-ranked welterweight contender Leon Edwards would be taking on Nate Diazin a five-round co-main event fight at UFC 262 in May. It was an unexpected fight but one that Usman says should give Edwards the bump he needs to finally get a title shot.
