Calls have been made to ban smoking from beer gardens
With pubs now able to open again but only for outdoor table service, a new debate has sparked on whether the smoking ban in public places needs to go further.
For many, there is now the feeling that they can t escape smoking while heading out for a drink or a meal as many pubs and bars don t have segregated smoking areas outdoors.

Gorham boys ski to fifth place at D4 championships

February 17, 2021BENNINGTON The Gorham alpine boys skied to a fifth place finish overall at the Division IV championships, held last Monday, Feb. 8, at Crotched Mountain in Bennington.
In the morning giant slalom, it was Nolan York leading the charge for the Huskies with a time of 1:11.64 for 11th place overall.
Teegan LeClerc finished in a time of 1:13.65 for 18th place, while Lex Mayerson was the third Husky finisher, placing 21st in 1:14.3.
