Set for 1 p.m. on Friday, March 12, Disney on Broadway just announced participants for the annual free event held in celebration on International Women s Day. All gender identities and expressions are welcome.
This year s event, held in the wake of the one-year anniversary of the Broadway shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, is themed Reflecting Courageously, Transforming Collectively.
The two-hour program will feature two sessions: Broadway s Moms: How Life Goes on When the Show Doesn’t” and “Broadway’s Second Act: A Conversation about Moving Beyond Intention.” On March 10, 2020, we held our third annual Women s Day on Broadway event, welcoming Secretary Hillary Rodman Clinton as our keynote speaker, along with many amazing women from within the theater community.
