Jesse Porter’s dreams of reaching this summer’s Olympic Games in Tokyo fell three wins shy of becoming reality.
Porter, a 2015 Shenendehowa High School graduate and winner of the U.S. Olympic Trials in Greco-Roman wrestling’s 77-kilogram weight class, needed to reach the finals Saturday at the World Olympic Games Qualifier in Sofia, Bulgaria in order to lock up his spot in Tokyo.

By Victoria Gray Writer Six Nations Famers Association (SNFA) wants to build food sustainability on the territory and they need the community’s help to do it. SNFA president Jesse Porter said the farmers listened to the needs of the community and heard loud and clear Six Nations wants a grocery store. “We need to rely on each other to bring this to a state where the whole community can be proud of this, and we need each other to put a positive outlook on the future of our food sustainability for all of Six Nations,” Porter said.
