Texas singer-songwriter Mike Ryan is fighting off heartbreak with alcohol, naturally in his new single Can Down. As he releases the brand-new song on Friday (April 9), he s sharing an acoustic performance exclusively with The Boot s readers.
Ryan co-wrote Can Down with Brent Anderson, Smith Ahnquist and Will Weatherly. The song s protagonist is utterly broken up over a
five-foot-two, blue-eyed girl who is small in stature but packs a punch well outside her weight class when it comes to a breakup. So here I am, on the back porch / It s lookin like I m stuck / Between a case of Rolling Rock and a heartache, Ryan sings.

The 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 All-Electric SUV Surprises The Car Pro
Thursday on
KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The Car Pro Jerry Reynolds joined Dave and Matt to talk about his test drive of the week, Texas s rank on the state hail damage list, as well as other auto industry news.
This week, The Car Pro was test driving the 2021 Volkswagen ID.4, Volkswagen s new all-electric SUV. Jerry started the discussion by saying that he has never found an electric car that would work for him in his daily life with how much he drives. However, this car is performing very well for him and he has thoroughly enjoyed it. The Car Pro went on to comment that Volkswagen is going all electric in their entire lineup, and that he doesn t think that they really have a choice. Jerry explained that, while they have never announced it publicly, he suspects that the government mandated that they go all-electric after their scandal where they lied about the emissions of their cars.
