Dean R. Leonetti Sr. graduated from Temple University, he served for six years in the U.S. Army Reserves. Consider that time well spent while he thought about what he wanted to do for his professional life.

The Chanhassen City Council passed a motion to approve the cityâs 2021 budget and a 2.77% levy increase Monday evening.
The council unanimously approved the $12,066,700 levy, which is a $325,332, or 2.77% increase from last year. While the preliminary levy â the maximum amount the council could set â was approved at 2.77% in September, the council had pushed for city staff to look for more reductions and lower the final levy to 2.5%.
Staff had originally found reductions, but proposed to use the $32,000 difference to fund an IT position mid-year that was originally planned for 2022, said Interim Finance Director Kelly Strey. Among other small budget adjustments, Strey recommended moving some funds to provide for any unplanned COVID-19 expenses not covered by CARES funding, such as paid sick leave.

Members of the National Education Union (NEU) at Havering Sixth Form College were on strike today (December 10) citing Covid-19 safety concerns.
The union says it has been trying to resolve the issues with CEO of the New City College group, Gerry McDonald, but they have not managed to reach an agreement.
John Delaney, Havering and Redbridge NEU district secretary, said: “Our members at the college have serious safety concerns.
Principal of Havering College, Paul Wakeling responded: We are disappointed that a minority of teaching staff at our Wingletye Lane campus have voted to take industrial action. The college will remain open on this day and all students who are timetabled to attend lessons should do so.
