Winfree’s MLW Underground (Ep. 23) Review 5.12.21
Hello everyone, Winfree back for more MLW Underground action. This week we finally get the War Games between the EXTREME Horsemen and the Funkin’ Army. That match was part of the EXTREME Horseman Anthology episode that I reviewed HERE if you’re curious. I wont just be doing the old copy paste thing, I’ll watch it again and see if my opinion has changed. Anyway let’s get to the action.
We open with the EXTREME Horsemen, Steve Corino, Simon Diamond, CW Anderson, and the masked man. I know the masked man is Justin Credible/PJ Walker but his identity will be revealed here. Corino gets a mic and will start our talky segment. The crowd gives them a “You Suck” chant, Corino asks if they suck then why do the EXTREME Horsemen hold all the gold in MLW? I’m guess it’s because not a one of them is at risk of going to a bigger promotion. Corino says Steve Williams has no gold, neither does Sandman or Terry

Lanny Poffo Reacts To The Randy Savage A&E Biography, Issues Corrections );
As many of you know by now, there was a lot of criticism over the Randy Savage A&E Biography that aired back on May 2. Randy’s brother, Lanny Poffo, has now written a blog on Pro Wrestling Stories responding to some of the criticism. You can check out some highlights from the blog below:

Biography aired on May 2, and the episode has received its fair share of criticism from the wrestling community. Lanny Poffo addressed some of the criticism in a recent blog entry for Pro Wrestling Stories, and he also issued a few corrections on the story that was told.

Miz and Mrs. The interview, which was released today but was conducted prior to Miz suffering a torn ACL at WrestleMania: Backlash this past Wednesday, also focused on some of the criticism towards Miz’ spot on the card. Miz pointed to a specific example of how fans react when things go well for him.
“When I did the interview with Pro Wrestling Illustrated, we were all talking ‘it’s amazing, it’s incredible,” Miz said, recalling when he topped the PWI 500 list in 2011. “When I see the cover, and I’m on it, and I’m like ‘wow that’s amazing…’ and it says ‘Yeah, he’s really #1’ and it’s like ‘Come on! I just did amazing interview!’ That’s the mentality that everyone has when I win something. But the thing is, all I care about is that people are talking. That’s it.
