Council were given three options from staff at Monday’s meeting, one of them was to appoint someone on Council to the position. Deputy Mayor Randy Roppel tells the Shoreline’s Oldies that he believes Council did not want to have it dragged out into the summer. He says Glover fellow Councillor Maureen Couture both put their names forward. Roppel understands there are some who wanted a by-election to elect Anne Eadie’s successor.
