Sold: Former German Culture Centre finds new buyer

Colliers International confirmed to 650 CKOM Monday the former German Cultural Centre off Lorne Avenue has been “unconditionally sold” and the deal is scheduled to close in a “matter of weeks.” The German Canadian Club Concordia closed the facility at the end of August sighting COVID-19 measures and put the building up for sale. Colliers could not reveal who the buyer is until the deal closes or the future plans for the facility.

Within the framework of the “Nogoonbaatar” Art Festival, the brigades of the “Switch Off Air Pollution” project have started to insulate the house in the “Nogoon Nuur” park and will jointly organize trainings on reducing air pollution, easy insulation of private houses and awareness of the importance of insulation.  “Nogoonbaatar” International Eco-Arts Festival will be held from March 5 to April 26, 2021 with an aim to change public attitudes through art, making their lifestyles more environmentally friendly, and raising awareness about environmental issues, especially air pollution.
