When Four Tet announced on Twitter in March 2015 that his next gig would be a back-to-back DJ set with Skrillex, some fans thought it was an early April Fool’s joke. The pairing was surprising, to say the least: Four Tet, the revered producer unspooling intricate rhythms unto “serious” warehouse heads, and Skrillex, the EDM supernova who made “filthy drops” part of dance music vernacular as the American face of a new, head-banging breed of U.K. dubstep? How it even began is unclear, though in June of 2014 Four Tet Tweeted Skrillex while watching the latter performed at the UK.. festival Glastonbury: “watching you and eating donuts. massive,” he wrote, followed by, “saw you in your spaceship.”

The Channel Islands Co-operative Society s Easter Campaign has raised almost £12,000.
The money will fund 900 care packages for individuals and families in Jersey and Guernsey who need extra support, with the rest going to charity.
Customers were given the opportunity to purchase a £2.50 Easter donation voucher which the Society then matched to create the bundle of treats.
The partnership approach, where the Co-op has matched the donations raised, has proven popular and we are so happy that we will be able to donate extra on top of the care packages already planned for the charities. Thank you to everyone who supported the Easter donation campaign; your contribution will make a real difference to those in need across the Channel Islands.
Feel Me?: Khari Johnson-Ricks @ Night Gallery, Los Angeles
Night Gallery // March 20, 2021 - May 01, 2021

Feel Me?, an exhibition of new work by Khari Johnson-Ricks. This is the artist’s first solo presentation at Night Gallery, following his inclusion in 2020’s group exhibition
Majeure Force.
Khari Johnson-Ricks creates intricate, exuberant scenes from paper constructions painted in shellac ink and watercolor. Exploring the illusory potential of paper, the works make use of the medium’s graphic flatness to create two forms of depth: one in real space, as cut-out shapes are layered with sculptural dimensionality, and one in the fictive pictorial space conjured from these assemblages. In situ, his tableaux appear like portals to dreamlike realms, while blank passages of paper bring the viewer back into the material plane of the work.
