It looks like the Patriots are keeping a pair of their coaches in the fold.
Philadelphia is hiring Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni for their head coaching vacancy, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Eagles had interviewed Josh McDaniels and Jerod Mayo for the opening the offensive coordinator’s interview was reportedly an all-day marathon but ultimately neither landed the gig.

The Eagles’ head-coaching search will extend into Thursday.
Entering the 10th full day of the process, the Eagles have interviewed 10 candidates, including two who have already taken jobs elsewhere.

The Eagles interviewed New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen on Wednesday. He is one of four defensive-minded candidates who has been considered for the job.
We could dance around the obvious or speak honestly and earnestly about the problem. In a league that is two-thirds African American, there are currently only two Black head coaches Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami s Brian Flores with one fired in advance of this cycle, former LA Chargers coach Anthony Lynn.
Jacksonville, Tennessee, the Chargers, and Detroit went traditional routes in this cycle: the program builder [Urban Meyer], the flavor of the month who happens to be the son of a billionaire [Arthur Smith], the guy who looks like and [insert audible gasp] even knows Sean McVay [Brandon Staley], and finally, the stereotypical football guy who just might actually put a few nails into his morning cereal just to test his own toughness [Dan Campbell].

Nick Sirianni arrived on the Eagles’ coaching scene late but must’ve made quite an impression on the team’s search party because he became he is their next head coach on Thursday.
A source confirmed the hiring, though the Eagles have yet to make it official.
The Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator for the last three years, Sirianni was the ninth candidate to interview for the position that opened up when the Eagles fired Doug Pederson on Jan. 11. He met with owner Jeffrey Lurie, team president Don Smolenski and general manager Howie Roseman on Tuesday, an interview that wasn’t concluded until the next day.
