Ms McManus, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, had been preparing to celebrate New Year’s Eve with loved ones at a private residence on the grounds of the luxury Sandy Lane resort, Barbados, which was purchased in the late 1990s by JP McManus, financier Dermot Desmond, and horse breeder John Magnier.

Emma, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, had been preparing to celebrate New Year’s Eve with loved ones at a private residence on the grounds of the luxury Sandy Lane resort, Barbados.
The residence was purchased in the late 1990s by JP McManus, financier Dermot Desmond, and horse breeder John Magnier.
Emma, late of London and Blackrock Co Dublin, is survived by her husband John and their three “adored” young children Milly, Lauren, and Annie, and “deeply regretted by her heartbroken parents and parents-in-law, Peter and Paula, JP and Noreen, her grandmother Veronica, siblings Juliet, Katie and Nick“, a funeral notice read.

THE funeral of Emma McManus, the daughter-in-law of JP McManus, is to take place in Barbados on Friday. January 8 next.
There is sadness across Limerick following the sudden passing of the 40-year-old mother of three on Wednesday, December 30.
She died at a medical centre in the Carribean island where she had been with the wider McManus family on a Christmas break.
Her funeral service will take place in Coral Ridge memorial gardens at Barbados on Friday, January 8, 10am local time, or 2pm Irish time.
Live streaming of the service will be made available, details of which will be provided here by Wednesday next.

Passed away, following a brief illness, on Wednesday December 30, 2020, at University Hospital Limerick.
Patrick is very sadly missed by his loving mother Eileen, brother Kieran, sisters Maureen, Kathleen and Eileen, brothers-in-law Mikie Joe and Eamonn, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
