Qatargas Delivers 1st Cargo to South India Terminal

  State-run Qatargas has delivered its first LNG cargo to India s Ennore LNG receiving terminal located in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, it said on February 28. The cargo was delivered aboard a Q Flex vessel.  “The Q-Flex vessel,  Al Nuaman, was loaded with 147,000 m 3 of LNG on February 11 at Ras Laffan Port, and called at Ennore terminal, near the southern city of Chennai, on February 20 and becomes the largest LNG carrier to call Ennore LNG terminal.” Qatargas said. The cargo was delivered to Indian Oil LNG Private, a subsidiary of state-run Indian Oil Corporation, which operates the 5mn metric tons/year terminal.
