TANGLA: The anti-CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) sentiments have bounced back to the streets with the Tangla unit of All Assam Students Union (AASU) staging a protest against the contentious Act and proposed Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) 2020 at Tangla town in Udalguri district on Sunday.
Tangla AASU unit president (in-charge) Kankan Das and secretary (in-charge) SailenSarma along with other members of the organization waved black flags and raised slogans against the BJP (BharatiyaJanata Party) government to show their resentment against the CAA and EIA draft.
