Climate Group Urges South Carolina Towns to Tackle Climate Change

Climate Group Urges South Carolina Towns to Tackle Climate Change By Chloe Johnson | February 4, 2021 A new group in Charleston is committed to lowering the area’s carbon footprint, and they’ve notched a recent success on James Island. The Charleston Climate Coalition, an all-volunteer group, was a driving force behind a resolution in the small town to consider climate change when making purchasing decisions. The group, with between 30 and 40 members, started to take shape after a 2019 rally on the College of Charleston campus that was inspired by teenage Swedish activist Greta Thunberg. Its goal is to push the climate change discussion in the Lowcountry past talking about symptoms of the problem, like flooding or sea rise, and on to addressing the root causes.

In the UK, Porn Stars now come bottled and batched courtesy of Nick Wall’s Tails; Sloe Sex on the Beach is available from Essex’s Tapp’d Cocktails; Zombies can be ordered from Karl Wozny’s Cocktail in a Bottle in Kent; while Jen Wright’s West Yorkshire company The Cocktail Pickers Club delivers classics including a bramble hedgerow gin straight to your door.

Fox21Online December 19, 2020 DULUTH, Minn.– Bars and restaurants are now able to serve people on site again. It just has to be outdoors in December. And even though the circumstances might not be ideal, local businesses are doing their best to make it work. On a chilly Saturday in Duluth, bars and restaurants were able to host customers outside for the first time in almost a month. “I feel like it hasn’t been as needed as it has this year.
