The TV audience for Donald Trump appears to be waning at least based on the former president’s Tuesday interview on Newsmax. The one-hour sit-down with Steve Cortes and Jenn Pellegrino averaged just 295,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
That’s less than half the eyeballs for a repeat of Food Network’s “Chopped,” which pulled in 651,000 on average in the midst of a multi-hour marathon of the cooking competition in the 9 p.m. timeslot. And it’s roughly a third of what Bravo scored for a new episode of “Real Housewives of New York.”
OAN Alleges Newsmax Is Left-Leaning, Noting It Declared Biden Winner Over Trump

One America News (OAN) has accused Newsmax of being a left-leaning organization, noting that the conservative outlet threw former President Donald Trump under the bus in the 2020 presidential election.
The two conservative media outlets have battled for pro-Trump viewers since the November election, as an increasing number of conservatives move from Fox News to outlets further to the right.
In a recent segment, OAN host and investigative journalist Pearson Sharp claimed that Newsmax projects an image of conservatism but has failed to adequately support Trump amid this ongoing baseless claim that widespread voter fraud caused his election defeat to President Joe Biden.
He has worked as a contributor on CNBC, Fox and Bloomberg TV, according to his LinkedIn page.
The announcement is also the first official word that Pellegrino was joining the network.
Prior to Newsmax, Pellegrino worked as a White House correspondent for One America News where, on one occasion, she was critical of Newsmax for censoring My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell.
Her critiques came after Newsmax anchor Bob Sellers walked off the set as Lindell tried to repeat disproven claims of election fraud.

Pellegrino started her broadcast career as an intern on The O Reilly Factor, according to her LinkedIn profile. She also worked for QVC and Fox News before moving to OAN.

A peaceful pro-police rally slated to be headlined by Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been postponed due to reported threats from Black Lives Matter and Antifa. One America’s Jenn Pellegrino caught up with the congresswoman for the details.
