The symposium will feature opening remarks by Dr. Jennifer Bott, WMU provost and vice president of academic affairs, keynote speaker Karen Lauritsen, Open Education Network publishing director, and a panel of WMU faculty and instructors who have adopted Open Education Resources (OER) in their courses. Several outstanding graduates have thrived at WMU by finding support in pursuing their career aspriations and purpose.
KALAMAZOO, Mich. Western Michigan University will grant more than 1,400 degrees to students during virtual commencement ceremonies
Saturday, Dec. 19. On that date, visit the commencement website for a link to watch programs throughout the day for the University s seven colleges and WMUx. There will more than 1,000 degrees awarded at the bachelor s level, more than 300 at the master s level and 29 at the doctoral level.
All programs will be shown in Eastern Standard Time:
9 a.m. Health and Human Services, Aviation
11 a.m. Haworth College of Business, Fine Arts
