A 31-year-old Meadow Lake man has been arrested after holding two people at gunpoint this week.
In a news release, RCMP said the Meadow Lake detachment received a 9-1-1 call around 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday about a man who had been holding a man and woman at gunpoint for almost two hours.

Officers secured the home and surrounding areas and learned the 31-year-old man at the centre of the call had a history of violent offences, the release stated.
Dillon was driving a grey Dodge Caravan and was wearing a black jacket and black pants when his family reported him missing to the Battlefords RCMP. His family tracked his van to the side of the road near Radisson on Highway 16 and also called Radisson RCMP. When his family arrived at the location, his van was no longer there.
