Special vests help protect trained law enforcement dogs from gunshots, stabbings, explosives, and blunt force trauma such as being kicked, punched, or beaten with a weapon or other dangerous object such as a bat or tire iron.
âIt was very exciting to see the vest,â Myster said.Â
âI was very proud of what we had accomplished,â Johnson added.Â
