(Photo provided â Temnit Muldowney) SARANAC LAKE The Saranac Lake Central School District Board of Education has secured grant funding that will help board members, district staff and local families better understand and address issues of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in its schools. The $2,000 grant will be administered by the district’s new DEI committee, which was formed after a summer that saw increased national and local engagement in racial justice issues. The grant has been awarded through the Adirondack Foundation’s Saranac Lake Public School Education Fund.

In February 2021, following appropriate COVID-19 safety protocols, students worked outside of Kennedy Theatre to mitigate the ravaging of rust to protect and preserve the inventory of stage combat weapons used by the department for in-class training and on-stage performances.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - “Sales have been out the roof,” said Jessica Jacob.
When the mega millions jackpot reached $1 billion, jackpot-hopefuls lined up to buy their share of lucky tickets.
“Odds are pretty tough but we’ll see. Someone has to win. Can’t win if you don’t play,” said Shane Dicristina.
“I start when it hits $100 million and then I’ll start playing it,” said Shawn Guidry.
