An Alberta man is facing charges after traveling 164 km/h on Highway #1, near Wolseley
On July 16
th, just before noon, RCMP observed a vehicle speeding excessively near Wolseley.
The officer pulled over the vehicle and noticed a sum of cash and illegal cigarettes in plain view. A full search of the vehicle was conducted, and officers seized the illegal cigarettes, 31 grams of cocaine, and about $140,000 in Canadian bills.
As a result, Jeffrey Weitzel from Edmonton is facing several charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, possession of the proceed of crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession on unmarked tobacco, possession of unstamped tobacco, and the purchase of unmarked tobacco.

Last Friday, Saskatchewan RCMP clocked a driver, travelled Highway 1 near Wolseley at 164km/hr.
After pulling the vehicle over, officers noticed a sum of cash and illefal cigarettes in plain view.
A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up 31 grams of cocaine, illegal cigarettes and 140-thousand dollars in cash.
40-year-old Jeffrey Weitzel of Edmonton faces several charges including, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Proceeds of Crime over 5-thousand dollars, and he will appear in court on October 19th.
