¯ A sergeant investigated a dog belonging to Thomas Hinkle, 606 Seventh St., Marietta, March 23 that had gotten loose from his property. The dog was in a fenced yard but was able to jump the fence. The dog charged at a child that was walking with the parent, and caused injury that resulted in serious physical harm. Hinkle, 29, was summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on a charge of failing to restrain his dog.
¯ A deputy met with Cutler resident Jeffrey Wear on March 25 to conduct an investigation into the burglary at his residence. This case remains under investigation.
¯ A deputy met with Pamela Alexander on Saturday regarding Mark Alexander grabbing her and shoving her. Both subjects stated they were in a mutual argument, which turned into a pushing match between them. Mark admitted to grabbing Pamela by the face and pushing her away, and Pamela admitted to pushing Mark. A summons is being requested for both Pamela and Mark Alexander on a c
