Several new agents-turned-principals have been recruited as part of a network’s bid to continue its expansion across Australia and New Zealand.
One Agency now boasts over 600 agents across Australasia after recruiting four new members in May, including Elli Birnie in Brighton-Le-Sands, NSW; Jeff Chang in Parramatta, NSW; Hazel McGinty in Gosnells, WA; and Samantha Richards in Toronto, NSW.
Across the ditch, Renate and Daniel Ochse are already licensees with One Agency in the Far North, but they’ve revealed their expansion into Napier, while Ian Croft will be taking on new territory under the One Agency umbrella from Pukekohe into Papatoetoe.

The Ministry of Finance on Saturday urged investors to stay calm after a spike in domestic COVID-19 infections and a global technology shares selloff unnerved the local stock market last week.
The ministry said that Taiwan’s economic fundamentals remain sound.
The Liberty Times (the Taipei Times’ sister newspaper) reported yesterday that Deputy Minister of Finance Frank Juan (阮清華) said that the government would pay close attention to the developments of the local stock market and the COVID-19 situation, adding that the National Stabilization Fund, of which Juan is the executive secretary, might hold an impromptu committee meeting on whether action is necessary.

About 15 years ago, Marion County’s healthy economy was fueled by mostly service industry jobs. When the national recession struck in 2008, the local unemployment rate soared into double digits, and at one point was among the Top 5 highest in the nation.
Marion County officials, including state Rep. Stan McClain, who was a Marion County commissioner back in 2008, said the board vowed to diversify the local workforce before the next national recession, or other crisis, came to town.
Flash forward to today, and the job market in Marion is much more diversified. The community has more manufacturing and logistics jobs. That workforce diversity means Marion’s economy faired much better during COVID-19 pandemic.
