Republican former officials anti-Trump manifesto may be tilting at windmills

Republican former officials anti-Trump manifesto may be tilting at windmills Letting go is hard, but it’s time say goodbye to this GOP. Even if it means that some of us will find ourselves in the political wilderness. The new coalition includes more than 100 Republicans, including former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld, former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge, and former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman. Other signatories included Ambassador Jim Glassman, former Secretary of Transportation Mary Peters, former Director of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, and the former chairman of the Republican National Committee, and fellow MSNBC columnist Michael Steele. The list also included former GOP congressme

Trump, Not Cheney, Rules the Republican Party [OPINION]

Trump, Not Cheney, Rules the Republican Party [OPINION] You have a right to be a member of whichever political party you chose, but you do not have a right to be a member of the national Republican Party leadership unless you are elected or appointed to a position. All of the media hype over Rep. Liz Cheney s (R-Wyoming) ouster as GOP conference chair on Wednesday was an attempt to persuade voters that the Grand Old Party is in disarray. It is not. There is a handful of old school, so-called conservative Republicans such as Cheney, Mitt Romney, and Mitch McConnell that are actually a part of the swamp. They are part of the problem. They are RINOs, Republican in name only. They represent the old way of doing things: put up a token defense against the ruling class Democrats, and then give away the store.

Politico columnist rips media for pushing GOP civil war narrative: It s a fantasy

American Conservative Union chair Matt Schlapp discusses Liz Cheney being ousted from her committee position. Politico columnist Jeff Greenfield knocked the media for pushing the narrative that the Republican Party is bitterly divided.  In his piece published on Wednesday titled, A GOP Civil War? Don’t Bet On It, Greenfield mocked recent coverage that has been depicting the GOP as eating itself alive and that such infighting will help Democrats maintain control in the 2022 midterms, but the media shouldn’t be so sure. First, beyond a few spats that make headlines, it’s getting harder to detect any serious division among rank-and-file Republicans. In Congress, and at the grassroots, the dominance of Donald Trump over the party is more or less total, Greenfield wrote. Second, and more significant, history is littered with times that critics on the left, and in the pundit class, were

A black man vandalized an NYC synagogue; CBS tried to make it about Trump

Print this article My absolute favorite moment of the Trump years is when he said during a speech in 2018, What you’re seeing and what you’re reading is not what’s happening. Very dumb liberals such as Jeff Greenfield compared it to something from George Orwell s 1984 when it was actually the truest and most insightful thing Donald Trump had said. What the media say is happening is routinely and literally not what s really happening. CBS on Monday reported that 29-year-old Jordan Burnette had been arrested in New York and charged with multiple crimes, including the vandalism of several synagogues. Burnette is black. That s not really surprising because this is the kind of thing that s been happening in New York for decades. It s how Al Sharpton launched his storied career as a race-baiting antisemite. That s right before he made his money shaking down random white people, Sharpton spent his time harassing Jews and inciting riots against their businesses.

CNN silent as Jeffrey Toobin has had time off for six months following Zoom masturbation scandal

Fox News Flash top headlines are here. Check out what s clicking on Foxnews.com. CNN continues to be mum about its star legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin six months after he asked for time off following the Zoom masturbation scandal.  Back in October, Vice broke the story about an alleged incident involving Toobin exposing himself to his New Yorker colleagues during a Zoom call that was described as an election simulation. It was later revealed that he was seen masturbating during what was supposed to be a 10-minute strategy session. Toobin was ultimately fired by the New Yorker following an investigation, but his status at CNN remains a mystery.
