City Council Talks About Gardens and Public Testimony Tuesday
The Yakima City Council meets Tuesday in a virtual meeting as city hall remains closed.
The meeting starts at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, January 19th on ZOOM. A short agenda for the council. Council members will get an update on the current pandemic. They ll hear the latest COVID numbers and how the Yakima Health District is handling vaccination efforts. The council is expected to recognize the retirement of Jeff Cutter after 23 years with the city of Yakima. The council is also expected to talk about community gardens and standards that need to be in place to manage the gardens.
