PENNDOT ANNOUNCES I80 RESURFACING PROJECT ALONG WITH BRIDGE WORK ON I80 AND I79 BEGINS IN MAY By John Smathers Apr 23, 2021 2:27 PM PennDOT has announced a resurfacing project for Interstate 80 in Clarion and Jefferson Counties is starting May 5. This project also includes bridge work on Interstate 79 in Butler County and Interstate 80 in Clarion and Jefferson Counties. The I80 project consists of a culvert replacement and a highway resurfacing project along I80 as well as other miscellaneous construction. This includes the area of I80 beginning less than half a mile west of the Clarion/Venango County Line to about 11 miles east of the Jefferson/Clarion County Line.

According to the Indiana County Center for Economic Operations, the program is being offered to local entrepreneurs in Cambria, Clearfield, Indiana and Jefferson Counties through the Ben Franklin TechCelerator at Indiana. The boot camp will run Tuesdays from June 8 th to August 17 th, and the program offers a weekly three-hour group session with content experts, and a one-hour session with a mentor to discuss individual needs and development opportunities. Participants will also get the chance to develop a pitch presentation for a contest with a $10,000 first prize. That contest will be held on August 18

Locally Lewis and Clark County reported 2 new cases, with the counties active total now at 53. Broadwater and Jefferson Counties meanwhile both reported no new cases and are currently at 18 and 5 active cases. Also over the weekend 18 COVID related deaths were reported. ‘Living Well with Chronic Conditions’ workshop offered BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) Deschutes County Health Services is excited to announce upcoming dates for the Living Well with Chronic Conditions program. This six-week workshop teaches practical skills for living a healthy life. Learn how to manage daily symptoms, including: pain, fatigue, stress, poor sleep, shortness of breath and physical limitations. The program costs $10 and will meet over Zoom on Fridays from 2 to 4 p.m., from April 23 through May 28. The Living Well with Chronic Conditions program is for anyone who lives with a long-term health condition like arthritis, asthma, depression, fibromyalgia, or diabetes. Although there are many chronic health conditions, challenges and symptoms are often similar.
