Jefferson County Commissioners approved a quitclaim deed from a church in Brookville and gave the title to the properties to Brookville Borough for the Pickering Street Church and Cemetery properties, according to the Punxsutawney Spirit.
Commissioners chair Jack Matson said it was determined that it was the county’s deed and it was dedicated for cemetery and church use.
