Green Country Schools Head Back To Class After Record-Breaking Winter Weather
Many school districts are heading back to classes on Monday morning after being out due to winter weather, but not all of them are heading back in-person, some are doing virtual learning instead if even just for today.
Broken Arrow, Union, Wagoner, Sapulpa, Skiatook, Stillwater, Tahlequah, Webber’s Falls, Oolagah, Owasso, Nowata, Bixby, and Central school districts are all back to classes in person today after being out for various days last week.
and Coweta are scheduled to be in distance learning for Monday only.

JENKS, Okla. â Instead of taking notes or preparing for a test Wednesday, some Jenks High School students watched President Joe Biden s inauguration.
Mrs. Henry, who teaches U.S. history and sociology, said it was important for her students to watch because they will shape the country in a few years.
âTheyâre all going to be voters in our next election, Henry said.
Henry told her students to write down the top five things President Biden promised to the American people during his speech.
