Tributes have been paid to PCSO Julia James by two survivors of domestic abuse who she helped through her role.
Mrs James, 53, was walking her Jack Russell on a public bridle path near her home in Snowdown, Kent when she was killed.
Members of the public found the mother-of-two and phoned the police at 4.08pm on Tuesday April 27.
She had worked in the Vulnerability Investigation Team from Canterbury police station and helped survivors seek help from abusive relationships.
Mrs James would often attend meetings to speak about potential police action, safety planning and emotional support while working with local domestic violence and abuse charity Rising Sun.

Police have been given more time to question a man in his 20s, who was arrested in connection with the murder of PCSO Julia James.
Ms James, a popular community support officer, was found dead in Akholt Wood near her home in Snowdown, Kent, on April 27.
The 53-year-old died from serious head injuries while out walking her dog Toby, who was found unharmed by her side.
The man, a British national who is from the Canterbury area, was arrested at 9.30pm on Friday night, and remains in custody, Kent Police said.
They have now been granted an extra 36 hours to question him. The extension lasts until Monday evening.

Police investigating the death of community support officer Julia James have arrested a man in his 20s.
The man, from the Canterbury area, was arrested at 21:30 BST on Friday and remained in custody, Kent Police said.
Ms James, 53, was found dead on 27 April in Akholt Wood, Snowdown, near Dover, having suffered serious head injuries.
Police, who said the man in custody was a British national, are continuing to appeal for information.
Ms James died from significant head injuries and had been walking her dog near her home at the time, police said.
